Uriah Heep – Wonderworld (2015 Reissue on 180g Vinyl)

Released on 22 June 1974, Wonderworld is the seventh studio album by Uriah Heep. This magnificent album was the last album made by the classic Uriah Heep line-up of Box, Byron, Hensley, Thain, and Kerslake. Increasing problems caused by drug dependancy led to the departure of Gary Thain. This is his swansong.

Highlights are, of course, the brilliant title track and the wonderful balled The Easy Road, which showcases David Byron at his very best. The music melodic, hard rocking and uniquely gothic this overlooked masterpiece deserves a place in every classic rock collection.
