nyone who knows 70's rock knows that Thin Lizzy were one of the best acts of the decade. Equal parts Irish literary charm and muscular rock hooks, Phil Lynott and crew deliver a really tight album here with classic cuts like For Those Who Love to Live (a song penned about a sex scandal that legendary Irish footballer George Best was involved in at the time) to Fighting My Way Back (a ballsy rocker with great hooks). This was the first of a string of albums where Lizzy would continue to refine their sound and eventually rise to international fame.
