Legendary German rock band Amon Düül II is generally considered to be one of the pioneers of the krautrock scene. Their music has been described as ‘one of the cornerstones of […] the entire krautrock movement’.

Tanz der Lemminge (English: Dance of the Lemmings) is the third studio album by the band, released in 1971. In the Q and Mojo Classic Special Edition Pink Floyd & The Story of Prog Rock, the album was listed as No. 36 in its list of ‘40 Cosmic Rock Albums’.
